 Course Structure

Phase 1: The Foundations

6 hours - Online Classroom and Small Group Guided Discovery

 

Schedule:
April 5th and 7th, 2022

9AM - 12PM 

Learning Content:

  1. Introduction to Program and Learning Process Coaching Defined 

  2. Coaching as a Vital Leadership Skill for Today Self-Awareness for Coaching 

  3. Preparing to Coach 

  4. The Foundational Framework: GROoW  Intentional Practice 

 

Learning Objectives:

•    Leaders gain new perspectives on their role as coaches

•    Leaders explore range of leadership coaching styles

•    Leaders increase self-awareness in preparation for adopting a coaching style

•    Leaders appreciate the value/benefit of making the shift to a coaching style

•    Leaders learn the foundational framework GROoW

•    Leaders take ownership of own learning and commitment to practice

Phase 2: Applied Learning and Practice

12 hours - Online Classroom and Small Group Guided Discovery 

Schedule:

April 12 to June 7 2022 (bi-weekly) 

9AM - 11AM

Learning Content:

  1. The Five Stages of GROoW in detail  

  2. The pitfalls and opportunities in each stage 

  3. The principles behind GROoW - trust, potential, listening, questioning, possibility, presence, curiosity, belief, intention 

  4. Applied Practice  

  5. Learning Debriefs and Reflective Process

Learning Objectives

•    Leaders learn a new conversation framework for unlocking potential in individuals, teams and organisation

•    Leaders learn by applied practice and real-life challenges

•    Leaders enhance personal skills range including listening, questioning, curiosity, etc

•    Leaders strengthen intentional presence and connection with peers and team members

•    Leaders become active/daily learners

•    Leaders gain confidence in adopting a coaching-style

•    Leaders appreciate the insights, benefits, value and difference that coaching creates for all

Phase 3: Consolidation, Reflection and Action Planning

6 hours - Online Classroom and Small Group Guided Discovery

June 14 2022

June 21 2022

9AM - 12PM

Learning Content:

  1. Consolidation of range of coaching/conversation tools introduced throughout the program

  2. Reflective Learning Processes  

  3. Measuring the Impact of Coaching Conversations

  4. Creating Support Resources for Ongoing Application of Learning  

  5. Action Planning 

  6. Review and Celebration of Learning Impact and Results 

 

Learning Objectives:

•    Leaders identify the value of the learning gained and applied during this program

•    Leaders increase their range of coaching/conversation tools and techniques

•    Leaders create an Action Plan for ongoing success

•    Leaders identify what resources they need for continued growth and success with this approach

•    Leaders create a forward vision for impact on individual, team and company growth.
