Key Outcomes:

1. Recognize concepts of values-based leadership, explore their current experience

2. Develop awareness of work style, decision-making and communication style and how these may be impacting 

3. Explore core personal values and how these connect to the organization

 

Module Description:

Participants will consider what is currently working in their leadership, any challenges and what they want to do to enhance their leadership. Leaders explore their personal leadership style including work style, decision-making and communication style. Leader’s will identify their current communication habits, the impact, and practical strategies to improve. Through conversation and reflection, leaders explore what matters most to them, and if they are aligning their priorities and actions to their values.

Key Outcomes:

1. Explore the concepts of shared values and what creates culture 

2. Explore and practice a simple, powerful coaching model

Module Description:

Through conversation and reflection, leaders explore what the concepts of shared values and what creates culture, and how they can collectively better align their priorities and actions to their values. Leaders will be taught a powerful coaching model and will practice using these in the day’s conversations. 

Key Outcomes:

1. Explore what makes teams perform better and how does a values-based leader create the space for their team to thrive.

2. Explore the FRESH Toolkit to help each leader personally build their high performing teams; practice one activity with colleagues. 

 

Module Description:

In this module, leaders will explore what makes teams perform better and how does being a values-driven leader create the space for teams to thrive.  Leaders will be provided with FRESH Toolkits to help them personally build their high performing team and an opportunity to practice using the toolkits with their colleagues. 

Key Outcomes:

1. Creating an internal community to continue the values-based conversations and learning

Module Description:

Between each module, assigned triads will be provided a series of questions to explore the work in the program so far, and practice the skills they are learning to improve their leadership. 

Winter 2023 - Face-to-Face Schedule

The three modules will be covered through three in-person days with triads meeting on their own in between sessions. This program, including the in-person sessions and the triad work, consists of a total of 23.5 hours of instruction.
